Privacy

We, the Jörg Paule Informationssysteme GmbH are pleased about your visit to our website. The protection of your personal data during processing is an important concern for us. We want you to feel secure when visiting our website. In the following, we explain what information we collect during your visit to our websites and how it is used.
Personal data

In general, it is not necessary for you to provide personal data to use our website. However, in order for you to make full use of our services, we may require your personal data. “Personal data” is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. On the one hand, this is information directly about you, e.g. your real name, your address, your telephone number. This also includes information that does not directly reveal your real identity, but which can be associated with you – such as favorite websites or number of users of a site or your IP address. Therefore, the following applies: personal data is only collected, used and disclosed by us if this is permitted by law, this is necessary for the use of one of our offers, or you consent to the data collection.

Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store the connection data of the requesting computer (IP address), the web pages you visit on our site, the date and duration of the visit, the identifiers of the browser and operating system used (so-called “user agent”), as well as the website from which you visit us (so-called “referrer”) for the purpose of system security. This data is evaluated by us for statistical purposes. This is done in aggregate form; individual users are not traced. Additional personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address, is not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an online application, a request for information via the contact form or when registering for a newsletter. If you do not wish to provide us with certain data electronically, e.g. in the case of an application, you are free to contact us by mail at the address given in the imprint, for example.

Use and disclosure of personal data

We use your personal data to fulfill your wishes and requirements, i.e. generally to process the contract concluded with you, to respond to your inquiry, as part of your online application or to send you the newsletter for which you have registered. We will only use this data for product-related surveys and marketing purposes if you have given us your prior consent or if you have not objected – insofar as this is permitted by legal regulations. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract or if you have expressly consented to this or if legal regulations permit such transfer. If the transfer of personal data to an external service provider is necessary for the provision of a service or to respond to an inquiry, we ensure through appropriate technical and organizational measures that the legal provisions on data protection are complied with. We also oblige our external service providers to comply with the relevant legal data protection provisions, to treat the personal data confidentially and to delete it immediately as soon as it is no longer required.

Newsletter

If you would like to receive one of our newsletters, we require a valid email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. This data is only used for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. With the registration for the newsletter, we also store your IP address and time/date of registration in addition to your email address. This is done solely for the purpose of having proof in the event that a third party misuses your email address and registers for newsletter reception without your knowledge. You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be done via a link in the newsletters themselves, or by sending a message to the contact options contained therein or below.

Contact form
If you send us requests via contact form, your information from the request form, including the contact information you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests directed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) if this was requested.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the U.S. and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent was requested (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is based solely on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Browser Plugin
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which will prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Storage period
Data stored at Google at user and event level, which are linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID), are anonymized or deleted after 14 months. For details, please see the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

Google Analytics Remarketing
This website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g. cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given corresponding consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history with your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be served on each end device on which you log in with your Google account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device ad advertising.
You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The aggregation of the collected data in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). In the case of data collection processes that are not merged in your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to the merging), the collection of data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
For more information and the privacy policy, please see Google’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
As part of Google Ads, we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across Google Ads customers’ websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
More information on Google Ads and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, as well as activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When disabling cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. Through this, Google obtains knowledge that this website was called up via your IP address. The use of Google WebFonts is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the typeface on his website. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
More information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Maps
This site uses the mapping service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in the privacy policy of Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Facebook Pixel
This website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.
The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website, we can not draw conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, according to the Facebook data usage policy. This may allow Facebook to serve ads on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as site operator.
The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures including social media. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
In Facebook’s privacy policy you will find further information on the protection of your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the Ad Settings area at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
